These Terms & Conditions are here to make sure everything runs smoothly, keeping you informed and protected while ensuring our activity providers and hire suppliers can deliver the best possible experiences. Please take a moment to read through them before booking.

Your Wellbeing and Activity Suitability

Your safety and enjoyment are our priority. Some activities require a certain level of fitness or specific skills (such as swimming, cycling, or jumping). Please share any medical conditions, concerns, or limitations with us at the time of booking so we can check with the provider whether the activity is suitable. If this information isn’t provided in advance, you may not be able to take part and refunds cannot be issued.

Age Requirements

Activity providers and hire suppliers often set minimum age limits. Please provide accurate ages for all children before booking to ensure participation. If this information is not provided, participation may not be possible, and refunds will not be offered.

Tailored Group Activities

We want our activities to be as inclusive as possible. If you need adaptive equipment or extra assistance, let us know before confirming your booking so we can make the necessary arrangements. If you’d like a care worker to accompany you, we’re happy to support this, just let us know in advance.

Booking and Refund Policy

We recommend all customers take out travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations.

 

Weather-Related Changes

Outdoor activities are sometimes affected by weather. If a booking needs to be cancelled, your supplier will contact you directly and offer either an alternative date or a refund (at their discretion). If you choose a refund, please confirm by email.

 

Cancellations and Changes by Customers

• At least 72 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or amendments.

• Cancellations made less than 72 hours before your booking cannot be refunded.

• If you do not attend your booking (a “no-show”), no refund will be issued.

 

Photography

Our team or suppliers may take photographs during activities for promotional use. If you’d prefer not to be photographed, please let us know before the activity begins.

Hire Equipment

Some suppliers may require a deposit, proof of ID (such as a driving licence), contact details, or a signed waiver before equipment is released. Deposits will be refunded once equipment is safely returned in good condition.

Using the Equipment

Please treat equipment with care and follow any instructions given. Refusal to follow essential instructions may result in the equipment being withheld or recalled, with no refund provided.

If you think you may be late returning equipment, please contact the supplier directly. Extensions are subject to availability and at the supplier’s discretion.

Responsibility for Equipment

Customers are responsible for all hired or borrowed equipment. If any equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen, the customer will be liable for repair or replacement costs. The supplier will contact you directly to arrange payment if required.

Online Gift Store

Our online gift store operates through Etsy under the name Creative Gifts Cornwall, a trading name of Venture Outdoors Cornwall Ltd.

• Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase.

• Because many of our items are custom-printed, refunds are only available if the product is defective, damaged, or incorrectly printed.

 

International Orders

Customers ordering from outside the UK may face additional shipping charges. Please provide accurate delivery information when placing your order.

• If extra shipping costs apply, we will contact you before processing.

• If the fees are higher than expected, you can choose to cancel your order.

• If we cannot agree on additional shipping, Venture Outdoors Cornwall Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the order and refund any payments made.
